David Bridgman joins O'Malley Tunstall

O'Malley Tunstall welcomes our newest attorney Dave Bridgman to the team. Dave brings a tremendous amount of experience to our office having spent his entire career in a courtroom. He joins Susan, Joe and Bruce focusing on social security and personal injury cases.

“Susan and I are very lucky to add Dave’s experience to our office. I’ve known Dave for over twenty years and know he will be a tremendous asset to our clients.”

David Bridgman has represented plaintiffs in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury matters including slip and fall, nursing home neglect and abuse, products liability, social security disability and professional malpractice cases since being admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1998. He is admitted in all state courts in North Carolina as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina.

Dave is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, where he participates in both the Auto Torts and Disability Advocacy sections, and has been a continuing legal education speaker teaching other North Carolina attorneys various topics such as maximizing money damages at trial. David is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national group consisting of less than 1% of trial lawyers in the country, which requires a settlement or verdict with at least a multi-million dollar recovery as a condition of membership.

David lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children, where he has resided since graduating from law school at Wake Forest University School of Law. Prior to joining O'Malley Tunstall, he worked from 1999-2005 as a litigation attorney at the law firm of Frederic E. Toms & Associates, PLLC in Cary, and was mentored by Fred Toms, who is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association General Practice Hall of Fame. After learning the ropes and gaining six years of litigation experience, David started his own practice in Raleigh, where he remained until joining O'Malley Tunstall in 2017.

Dave was featured in Lawyers Weekly for a $2.25 million jury verdict in a case involving a tractor trailer accident in which the plaintiff suffered severe and debilitating permanent migraine headaches as a result of the collision.

In addition to being a devoted husband and father, David involves fishing, gardening and watching ACC sports when he is not in the office.

Again we are happy to announce that David Bridgman joins O'Malley Tunstall.
